Welcome to 2019 and a revamp of the Mecha Panda blog!
Hello! My name is Jon. You may or may not know me from Pondo’s Playground. This year, at least, I will be taking over the blog. Not taking over in a MWHAHAHAHAHAH sort of way, more just 52 weeks of Jon posts! (That’s how many weeks are in a year, right?)
At any rate, I figure this year I will try some different things and see how you, the people, like them. I think I want to try an audio blog at some point, and maybe even a video post. It will take some nerve building. But we will get through this together… I hope…
A little bit about myself: Currently I am a third-year creative writing major, and I’m unemployed. I love animals. Honestly, sometimes more than I like people. I have a cat named Ava, who I hope you know from other appearances in the Mecha Panda universe, and a dog named Jacob who is becoming popular on our Instagram (@MechaPandaPub).
What can you expect from me?
I promise to have a blog post for you every week this year. It’s a big commitment but I think I’m up to the task. There will be birthday interviews, book reviews (done by our Marketing Director, I’m not a big reader…), video game & movie reviews, insights into our Mecha Panda operations and whatever else I feel like writing for your entertainment.
Also, email me at pondo@mechapandapublishing.com anytime if you have any suggestions for topic ideas (I might need the help). You can also email about anything Blog or Podcast related, so don’t ever feel shy. I’m looking forward to this year and I’m excited to see what shenanigans we get up too.
